What is the GemCloud Market grading system?
The GemCloud Market grading is the first comprensive grading system for colored gemstones. It is a universal system that is used with any colored gemstone and include both a color intensity grading and a clarity grading. It was created upon informal market standards used by gemstone expert to grade the quality of colored gemstones.
Clarity Grade
The clarity of colored gemstones is assessed without the aid of a loupe and at a distance of about 40 cm. Colored gemstones that are free of inclusions are very rare while visible inclusions are more common and acceptable.
